Based in Southern New Hampshire, Erin Dubois is a freelance flutist, teacher, and collaborative artist specializing in new music dedicated to promoting new music through performance and educational programs. She has appeared throughout New England as a soloist, teacher, and clinician, as well as a member of various ensembles.
Erin has appeared throughout New England as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Recent highlights include Beethoven Symphony No. 9 with the NH Philharmonic, a concert and masterclass at the Manchester Community Music School with the Precious Metals Flute Ensemble, performances with the Tim Janis Ensemble, appearances on concert series in Northampton, MA and at the 1794 Meetinghouse in New Salem, and a solo recital at Christ Church United in Lowell. She is currently on the substitute list for the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Symphony NH, Belmont Festival Orchestra, and the Lowell Philharmonic.
Erin holds an MM in Flute Performance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst studying under Christopher Krueger and a BM in Flute Performance from the University of Southern Maine studying under Jean Rosenblum. Additionally, she has attended masterclasses at Le Domaine Forget, the Julius Baker Masterclass and the ARIA International Summer Music Academy performing in masterclasses with Alexa Still, Marya Martin, Susan Hoeppner, Mathieu Dufour, Conor Nelson, and Robert Dick.
Erin has a passion for teaching. She currently teaches private flute lessons at her home in Nashua, NH. She is a flute teacher at Concord Community Music School in Concord, NH, and for Lowell Learns. Erin is also on staff at Let's Play Music & Make Art, LLC teaching piano and flute in Manchester, NH and she directs the Litchfield High School Flute Choir.
